EKP Telecom completed cable and pole line repair work in Hope, BC, including damage assessment, repair and replacement of affected pole hardware, aerial fibre and copper cable restoration, cable transfer and re-tensioning, network testing, traffic management coordination, and final site cleanup. The work was carried out safely and efficiently by experienced crews to restore reliable telecommunications service, reduce customer downtime, and ensure the repaired infrastructure met required quality and safety standards.
EKP Telecom successfully completed the Valleycliffe Powerline Relocation project in Squamish, BC, relocating 16 utility poles through challenging mountainous terrain to support future infrastructure development. The project involved pole removal and installation, overhead line transfers, hardware replacement, traffic management, and strict environmental and safety compliance. Despite difficult access and rugged conditions, our experienced crews completed the work efficiently while ensuring minimal disruption and maintaining the integrity of the existing power and telecommunications network.

As part of the Fraser Highway SkyTrain Expansion, EKP Telecom carried out critical telecommunications infrastructure relocation to facilitate construction of the new rapid transit corridor. The scope included relocating aerial and underground telecom facilities, transferring fibre and copper cables, modifying pole line infrastructure, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring uninterrupted communication services throughout construction. Our team delivered safe, efficient, and high-quality work while supporting one of British Columbia's largest transportation infrastructure projects.
